QuantumBasel was founded in 2022 by the uptownBasel Group on its 70,000 m² Innovation Campus in Arlesheim. A historic hub for industrial excellence now focused on Industry 4.0, it serves as Switzerland’s center for Quantum innovation.

December 5, 2024 marked a major milestone: IonQ’s Forte Enterprise ion‑trap system (#AQ36) became the first IonQ Quantum computer ever installed and operated in Europe - right here at uptownBasel. Join our innovation mission.
